Experience
Lead Data Scientist
Glanum, Avignon, France – (Dec 2020 - Present)
- Co-founded the data science department at the company, including setting up the data platform, team structure, service offers, and invoicing. Led the team and recruited data professionals while establishing all departmental processes.
- Increased the department's size to 10 people, consisting of 5 data engineers, 3 data scientists, 1 data analyst, and 1 data manager. Boosted the company's revenue by 50% and improved relations with key clients such as La Poste.
- Developed a "data scoring" model to evaluate prospects based on their "data appetency" streamlining the commercial team's process and enabling the company to sign more efficiently just a week after its release.
- Led the development of a custom ETL manager, allowing for the easy creation and deployment of ETLs with YAML configuration files. Successfully deployed over 15 ETLs jobs for both clients and internal use cases.
- Set up the foundation of the data-driven mindset at the company by organizing data science workshops, data cine sessions, and developing dashboards on Power BI, which were widely adopted by the management and CFO.
For clients:
- As the lead data scientist, conceptualized the data architecture for a machine learning project involving the creation of a glass recommender system using face shape and behavioral data. Successfully deployed the first version in less than three months.
- Led the conceptualization of the data architecture, developed proof of concepts for detecting landmarks in image data, and led my data scientist team in operational research algorithms. Reduced the lab time for this project while ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Led and implemented a data lake in AWS for marketing and operational data, designed the architecture, and mentored an intern on ETL development and data lake creation. Highly used by the marketing team for analytical dashboards.
- Led the development of a quasi-real-time stream ingestion for IoT data, joined user data into an AWS S3 data lake, computed KPIs and dashboards, and developed a simple Kalman filter for unavailable data in time series. Successfully managed the project from beginning to end, concluding a partnership with the client to develop a mobile app.

- Worked as a data scientist in an assignment with La Poste Group. Developed and managed data science projects in Dataiku, created data pipelines, and conducted machine learning analysis. Created Dataiku macros to automate scenarios and pipelines, leading to significant cost reductions for the company. (More than 30k euros)
Data Project Manager
La Poste Group, Avignon - Paris, France – (Dec 2021 - June 2022)
- Worked as a data project manager in an assignment with La Poste Group, managing several data ingestions into the data lake. Participated in meetings with e-commerce and data business teams to clarify business needs and technical issues. Successfully managed 3 data ingestions, including the largest of 2022 involving e-commerce data (e-commerce data generated 1000 messages per day)
Data Engineer
La Poste Group, Avignon - Paris, France– (Feb 2021 - Dec 2021)
- Worked as a data engineer in an assignment with La Poste Group, developing a complete data hub within an agile team. Prepared coding standards, developed the MVP of the data hub, and successfully enriched the data lake with five new data sources, including e-commerce and open data using Kafka and Scala Spark.

EDF Group, Toulouse, France – (Sep 2018- Sep 2020)
- Collaborated with the Lab team at EDF Group as the first Data Scientist, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for the organization.
- Successfully executed a time series project aimed at assisting the billing team in predicting peaks in invoice generation by utilizing an IT system.
- Revamped the monitoring system for the billing team using machine learning, which enabled them to proactively plan the billing processes based on the model I deployed.
